Probation Violations

Probation Violations

Whether it is a felony probation violation or a misdemeanor probation violation, the possibility of having to do a ninety-day CRV (conditional response to violation) or your full sentence is scaring you right now!

Don’t let it. While no one can promise you that you won’t be sent to the do the CRV or get revoked, there are things that can be done to help you show the judge why he or she shouldn’t order you to do all that time – things that help show the judge how justice would be better served by letting you do weekends for a month or ordering extra community service hours or some other constructive measure intended to get your attention.

While you shouldn’t violate the terms and conditions of your probation, it happens. What was your intent when you messed up? How did you mess up? What other term or condition of probation could be added to help you (i.e. – mental health assessment and counselling)?

Showing a judge that the person in front of them is an individual with positive attributes that outweigh the negative attributes is what you must do in these instances. Please don’t misunderstand though, it has to be true and the attributes have to be real.

Let the attorneys at Remington Law Firm, PLLC show YOU and the judge what neither of you may have ever seen before the way we’ll show it to you – there is likely a great person in there that simply messed up.

Call us and arrange for us to help you before you run out of time – probation violations go quickly through the system.
